Far North Coast Wound Services, established in 2024 by Josh Hart, RN, provides exceptional wound care services to the community.
In 2024 by our Clinician, Josh, saw a need in the Far North Coast of NSW for a service that supported his local community with up to date, best practice wound care, along with close collaboration with the patients current healthcare team to streamline their wound care journey.
Our dedicated Clinician delivers expert wound care at General Practices, Surgeon Rooms, and Residential Aged Care Facilities. Our clinical has an advanced knowledge of wound care dressings, engaging with leading industry partners to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients.
Our Mission Statement At Far North Coast Wound Services we pride ourselves on providing a Wound Care Service that is patient centred, compassionate, utilises the most up to date research, techniques and products, whilst highly valuing a collaborative care approach for the people of the Far North Coast.
Our Goal is to provide a service that is cost effective and services the community in a way that best suits each individuals expectations and desired outcomes.

Our Team
Our Clinician Josh has been a practicing Wound Care Nurse for 10 years in the Northern Rivers. He has worked in the hospital setting as a Wound and Vascular Nurse, General Practice Nursing, Corporate Wound Care and practiced Wound Care within an Older Adult Residential Facility. He is passionate about the wound care journey, education and patient centred wound care. Josh plans to commence a Masters in Nursing with a focus on Wound Care in the community in the near future.
Our Business Manager Kyah is overseeing scheduling, finances, payroll, compliance, and day-to-day business operations. After obtaining her qualifications in 2011, Kyah built more than a decade of experience across aged care, disability support, community care, hospital, and emergency department support settings. Her background includes extensive high-demand rostering and scheduling within nursing homes, agency call centres, SIL environments, and disability day programs, alongside team leadership roles and responsibilities, as well as involvement in Manual Handling and Palliative Care teams.
Kyah has a strong interest in wound care and the human body, particularly the way anatomy, physiology, and healing processes work together in practice. Her naturally curious, detail-oriented approach and passion for problem-solving have transitioned seamlessly into business operations and systems management.
